Einsendeschluss: 15. August 2014. Ab sofort lädt SoundTrack_Cologne alle Filmschaffenden, ProduzentInnen und Vertriebe ein, Biopics über MusikerInnen oder Bands, anspruchsvolle Bandporträts oder ..

...Konzertdokumentationen, Musikdokumentarfilme, künstlerische Musikfilme, Musikvideos und Kurzfilme mit musikalischem Schwerpunkt für die Filmreihe SEE THE SOUND im Rahmen von SoundTrack_Cologne 11 einzusenden.

SoundTrack_Cologne ist das deutsche Festival zu Musik und Ton in Film und Medien. Seit seiner Entstehung hat sich SoundTrack_Cologne mit seinem Kongress- und Festivalprogramm zur führenden europäischen Plattform für Film- und Medienmusik entwickelt.

Das Filmprogramm SEE THE SOUND widmet sich dabei spezifisch der Verbindung zwischen bewegtem Bild und Musik und zeigt das Beste aus den Bereichen künstlerischer Musikfilm, Musikdokumentarfilm, Musikvideo und Kurzfilm mit musikalischem Schwerpunkt.

Zum zweiten Mal wird in diesem Jahr im Rahmen von SEE THE SOUND der Preis für die Beste Musikdokumentation vergeben. Der Preis ist mit 2.500 Euro dotiert.

Als Festival, das sich der Tonspur und ihren mannigfaltigen Variationen im Zusammenspiel mit dem bewegten Bild verschrieben hat, sucht SoundTrack_Cologne auch in der diesjährigen Ausgabe wieder die Grenzen und Grenzüberschreitungen, bei denen sich aus der Begegnung von Bild und Ton neue Sicht- und Hörweisen entwickeln. Mit SEE THE SOUND will SoundTrack_Cologne das breite Spektrum der Verbindung zwischen Bild und Ton abbilden und außergewöhnlichen Musikfilmen eine Bühne vor einem professionellen Publikum bieten.

Eingereicht werden können Filme, die 2013 oder 2014 produziert wurden oder nach dem 1. Januar 2013 erstmals auf einem Festival präsentiert wurden. Berücksichtigt werden Filme in allen branchenüblichen Formaten, Musikvideos als quicktime.mov 720 x 576 PAL. Es gibt keine Beschränkungen bezogen auf das Produktionsland.

Für die Einsendung werden nur Ansichtskopien in DVD-Format akzeptiert.

Einsendeschluss ist Freitag, der 15. August 2014.

SoundTrack_Cologne 11 now invites all those working in film, producers and distributors, to submit music documentaries, artistic films about music and musicians, short films with a focus on music and music videos for the film programme SEE THE SOUND at SoundTrack_Cologne 11.

SoundTrack_Cologne is the German festival of music and sound in film and media. Since its inception, with its congress as well as festival programme, SoundTrack_Cologne has developed into the leading European platform for music in film and the media.

The film programme SEE THE SOUND is dedicated specifically to the combination of moving image and music, and presents the best examples of music documentaries, artistic films about music and musicians, biopics about musicians or bands, discerning documentaries about concerts, or portraits of bands, short films and music videos.

For the second time a Prize for the Best Music Documentary will be awarded in the context of SEE THE SOUND. The Prize will be worth 2.500 Euro.

With SEE THE SOUND SoundTrack_Cologne aims to display the wide spectrum of connections between image and sound and to offer outstanding music films a platform to be presented to a professional public.

Films and music videos whose production was completed in 2013 or 2014 or which had their premiere at a festival after 1st January, 2013 can be submitted. Films in any industry standard format, music videos as quicktime.mov 720 x 576 PAL, will be considered. There are no restrictions regarding country of production.
"We only accept screeners in DVD format."

Deadline for the submission is Friday, 15th of August, 2014.
